For the last 20 years, I offered a horsemanship internship where you joined me in all the horse activities that I did on the farm. This included barn care cleaning, care for the horses such as grooming, administering meds they may need, and walks to the river for splashes "because they enjoy it". You received one-on-one attention and four private horsemanship /riding lessons a week. Plus time to practice what you learn on your own with the horses. There is a river nearby where we take the horses to Splash and two waterfalls you can hike to. You can walk to a small store up the street where you can pick up your basic Food Supplies. There is also a bus that goes up to town at various times throughout the day. On Fridays and Saturdays, there is a farmer's market in the town of Puriscal.
